This guide will help you to import and use custom gallery content in Smart Notebook. The example we’ll be using is WWN’s Timer & Learning Mode Sign pack, available from the BHS Staff shared drive. This method will work in school and for users who have Notebook 11 at home.
1. Download the file to your PC. Our example file is located in the BHS Staff Shared Drive:
BHS Staff/Branding and Templates/SMART Notebook
2. Ensure you’ve closed all instances of SMART Notebook. You don’t have to complete this step, but the files won’t show up in any instances/files you already have open until you close them and reopen them.
3. Double click the file in your downloads folder, or press on the chrome download. SMART Notebook will open and install the content.
a. If this doesn’t work for you, open SMART Notebook and open the Gallery (step 4). Drag and drop the file from your downloads folder into the Gallery’s file manager.
4. To use the content, open the Gallery on the left hand side of SMART Notebook.
5. The Gallery’s File Manager is shown. Select either instance of “My Content”.
6. You may now drag and drop any of the content shown in the folders at the bottom. The timers will begin immediately, cannot be paused and will loop indefinitely. They can be scaled as normal
